The college freshman finally welcomed viewers into the private space she now calls home, revealing a polished retreat with personal touches, icy modern decor, and one feature nobody expected to find in Miami.

Kai Trump, 19, shared her first apartment tour on September 5, 2026, after beginning college at the University of Miami and settling into life as a Division I golfer.

While the two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is far removed from the typical freshman dorm, its surprisingly restrained appearance left viewers debating whether it looked luxurious, ordinary, or somehow a little of both.

Her Freshman Schedule Leaves Little Time for Miami Parties

Kai's apartment tour was posted on her personal YouTube channel and began with a glimpse at the demanding routine unfolding beyond her front door.

She had already completed six golf qualifiers, battled strep throat and a sinus infection simultaneously, and suspected that some unfortunate sushi had given her food poisoning the night before filming.

Still, she sounded completely smitten with her choice of school. "I love University of Miami. It's a great college," she said.

Its proximity to her family home in Jupiter, Florida, also allows her to return for golf equipment, coaches, and training whenever her schedule permits. Those openings are rare, with Kai rising around 5 a.m. and often staying awake until 10:30 p.m.

"I feel like I haven't really explored Miami yet because I'm so busy with the golf and stuff like that," she explained. "But I'm here for golf; I'm not here to party in Miami, so I guess it's okay."

The beach may be waiting, but golf clearly has first claim on this freshman's calendar. After practice, classes, and lunch with teammates, Kai finally returned home and opened the door viewers had been eager to peek through.

The Coolest Feature Was Hiding Beneath Her Television

The apartment immediately opened into a sleek white kitchen, which Kai declared her favorite area "'cuz I eat a lot." Glossy tiled floors and crisp walls gave the room an immaculate, airy appearance, while dark wood-grain cabinetry provided a stylish contrast.

A long island doubled as a breakfast bar, complete with an undermount sink, commercial-style gooseneck faucet, and grey swivel stools. Stainless steel appliances, including a wall oven, microwave, and integrated vent hood, added a modern-looking finish without making the kitchen feel overly showy.

Kai had already put her stamp on the walls. A framed black-and-white print of Aspen ski gondolas appeared near the counter, reflecting her love of skiing and one decorating achievement she was particularly proud to claim. "I actually hung that up myself," she announced.

A New York City painting had also found a place in the apartment, although Kai readily credited Emma Markin, her best friend, with hanging that one. Together, the pictures gave the cool-toned home a little personality without disturbing its clean, uncluttered mood.

Kai considered it the standout feature herself. "Then we got my fireplace, which is like, I think, the coolest part of this," she said.

A patterned rug, metallic-finish rectangular coffee table, and the NYC cityscape above the sofa completed a space that looked polished but still comfortable enough for collapsing after hours on a golf course.

Her YouTube play button celebrating 100,000 subscribers was displayed nearby, adding a reminder that college golf is only one part of Kai's increasingly public life.

The apartment also contains an office where she completes her homework. Among its most personal details was a photograph of Kai with her grandfather, Donald Trump, at a golf course.

Her bedroom continued the clean, almost entirely white palette. A large upholstered platform bed and headboard anchored the room, accompanied by matching nightstands, soft lamps, simple artwork, and gleaming pale floors.

Kai also showed the guest bathroom, closet, and additional rooms, revealing that she does not live in a dorm like many other first-year students. "I'm very, very lucky to have this obviously as a freshman, but I'm very lucky I have this apartment," she said. "It's amazing."

For someone whose days are filled almost from sunrise to bedtime, the privacy seems to be the apartment's greatest luxury. "It's really nice coming home to no one, and after a long day on the golf course, it's always nice to just chill here and do nothing."
