Daily medication taken by millions found to increase risk of dementia by 33%

  A commonly used medication may be linked to a higher risk of dementia, according to researchers studying the long-term effects of proton pump inhibitors, also known as PPIs. The medications – including Omeprazole, Lansoprazole, and Pantoprazole – are widely prescribed to treat acid reflux and heartburn. Doctors typically recommend taking PPIs once a day for a limited period. Long-term use, however, has previously been associated with a growing list of potential side effects – including a possible increased risk of dementia. A 2023 study found that people who used PPIs over an extended period were 33 percent more likely to develop dementia, according to LadBible. American scientists analyzed data from 5,712 adults between the ages of 45 and 64 who did not have dementia at the beginning of the study. คนร้ายกระหน่ำแทง นายก อบต.บ้านติ้ว เสียชีวิต

 

วันที่ 31 ส.ค.2569 ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่าเวลาประมาณ 21.40 น.วันที่ 30 สิงหาคม 2569 ร.ต.อ.สงัด กุมภาพันธ์ พนักงานสอบสวน สภ.หล่มสัก อ.หล่มสัก จ.เพชรบูรณ์ ได้รับแจ้งจากศูนย์วิทยุสื่อสารว่าเกิดเหตุใช้อาวุธมีดแทงกัน มีผู้ได้รับบาดเจ็บสาหัส 2 ราย ที่บ้านเลขที่ 99/9 หมู่ 1 ต.ตาลเดี่ยว อ.หล่มสัก จ.เพชรบูรณ์ จึงรายงานผู้บังคับบัญชาตามลำดับชั้น จากนั้นจึงเดินทางไปที่เกิดเหตุพร้อมด้วยอาสามูลนิธิร่วมกตัญญูหล่มสักและหน่วยกู้ชีพโรงพยาบาลหล่มสัก ที่เกิดเหตุพบนายหลักทรัพย์ คำโสม อายุ 61 ปี ซึ่งเป็นนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลบ้านติ้ว อ.หล่มสัก จ.เพชรบูรณ์ อยู่บ้านเลขที่ 9 หมู่ 7 ต.บ้านติ้ว อ.หล่มสัก ถูกอาวุธมีดแทงบริเวณหน้าท้อง ใต้ลิ้นปี่ ได้รับบาดเจ็บสาหัสเวลาและปฏิทิน

นอกจากนี้ยังพบ นางสมจิตร คำโสม อายุ 60 ปี ภรรยาของนายหลักทรัพย์ ถูกแทงได้รับบาดเจ็บเช่นกัน เจ้าหน้าที่กู้ชีพเร่งนำตัวผู้บาดเจ็บทั้งสองรายส่งโรงพยาบาลหล่มสัก แพทย์ให้การช่วยเหลือเบื้องต้น แต่นายหลักทรัพย์ทนพิษบาดแผลไม่ไหวเสียชีวิตในเวลาต่อมา และจากการชันสูตรพบถูกแทงด้วยของมีคมบริเวณคอ หัวใจ ลิ่นปี่ หน้าอก จำนวนหลายแผล



จากการสอบถามข้อมูลเบื้องต้นทราบว่า ก่อนเกิดเหตุช่วงเวลาประมาณ 19.00น. จนถึงประมาณ 21.40 น. นายหลักทรัพย์และคนร้ายได้นั่งพูดคุยกันบริเวณจุดโรงจอดรถ ซึ่งใช้เป็นสถานที่รับแขก ภายในมีโซฟาไม้และม้านั่ง แต่ยังไม่ทราบแน่ชัดว่าเกิดเหตุการณ์หรือมีปัญหาใดขึ้น ก่อนที่คนร้ายจะใช้อาวุธมีดแทงนายหลักทรัพย์จนได้รับบาดเจ็บ ต่อมานางสมจิตร ภรรยา เดินมาเห็นเหตุการณ์ คนร้ายจึงใช้อาวุธมีดแทงนางสมจิตรจนได้รับบาดเจ็บอีกคน นางสมจิตรจึงวิ่งหลบหนีเข้าไปภายในบ้าน ขณะที่คนร้ายพาตัวนายหลักทรัพย์ออกจากจุดเกิดเหตุประมาณ 30 เมตร ก่อนขับรถยนต์เก๋งโตโยต้า วีออส สีดำ ไม่ทราบหมายเลขทะเบียนขับหลบหนีไป



เบื้องต้นเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจยังไม่สามารถระบุสาเหตุและแรงจูงใจที่แน่ชัดของการก่อเหตุในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างสืบสวนสอบสวนรวบรวมพยานหลักฐาน เพื่อหาสาเหตุที่แท้จริงและติดตามตัวผู้ก่อเหตุมาดำเนินคดีตามกฎหมาย โดยพนักงานสอบสวนได้ประสาน พิสูจน์หลักฐานเพชรบูรณ์ เข้าร่วมตรวจสถานที่เกิดเหตุและเก็บหลักฐานทางนิติวิทยาศาสตร์แล้ว เพื่อประกอบการติดตามผู้ก่อเหตุต่อไป
