Pamela Anderson stuns fans after returning to her iconic ’90s look

Pamela Anderson is turning back the clock — and turning heads — with a bold return to the glammed-up look that made her a global icon in the 1990s. Anyone who lived through the ’90s will remember how Pamela Anderson didn’t just appear on our TV screens — she defined them. With that bombshell blonde hair, bronzed skin, and smoldering eye makeup, she wasn’t just the star of Baywatch — she was the moment. Whether you were glued to the screen watching her run down the beach in slow motion or flipping through glossy magazine covers at the grocery store, Pamela’s image was everywhere. These days, Pamela Anderson is known for embracing a more natural, makeup-free look — a refreshing change that’s turned just as many heads on red carpets as her glam days once did.

That’s why fans were genuinely stunned when the 57-year-old Baywatch legend stepped out in a full-on throwback transformation, channeling her iconic ’90s glam in a way that felt like a blast from the past.

Teaming up with Los Angeles-based makeup artist David Velasquez, Pamela brought back the heavy eyeliner, bold lashes, and voluminous blonde hair that once defined an era.

Velasquez shared the glam moment on Instagram with the caption: “Rock n Roll like the 90s,” — and fans immediately went wild.

Velasquez didn’t reveal exactly when the photo was taken, though he previously did Anderson’s makeup for a 2022 shoot.

A walk down memory lane

Wearing a red Versace robe, charcoal black liner, overlined beige lipstick and a dramatic pair of fake eyelashes, the post lit up social media with reactions ranging from nostalgic excitement to surprise.

“OMG! She looks like Pamela again! Loveeeeee,” one fan gushed.

Others praised Velasquez for glamorizing Anderson again, with one fan writing, “a full face just to remind the girls who THE OG is!!!”

Another commented, “She looked better natural although she looks great with makeup xxx.”

“I love her no makeup look but this feels like home,” wrote a third.

Still, not everyone agreed. One user weighed in: “I loved her natural but each to their own.”

A look with meaning

Over the last few years, Pamela has become known for her decision to go makeup-free, a choice she connected to the loss of her dear friend and makeup artist Alexis Vogel, who died from breast cancer in 2019.

“She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup,” Pamela told Elle in 2023.

That heartfelt sentiment is what made this return to glam so surprising for many.

Pamela previously explained her no-makeup journey during Paris Fashion Week in 2023, telling Vogue France: “I’m not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room. I feel like it’s just freedom. It’s a release.”

Criticism after the Met Gala

Pamela’s honesty about aging, identity, and self-image has turned her into a powerful voice for authenticity in Hollywood. But that doesn’t mean every bold choice lands without pushback. Her daring look at this year’s Met Gala — where she was even compared to Joan of Arc — stirred mixed reactions online.

Many of the top comments on E! News’ video of Pamela weren’t exactly glowing.

“I love her, but her stylist needs fired,” one person commented on Instagram.

“I get it. I love it. But I’d really like to see her with some eyebrows,” another added.

Behind the scenes, sources say Pamela’s move away from heavy makeup wasn’t just personal — it was strategic.

“Part of her motivation was that she wanted to strip away her Barbwire image and Baywatch personification,” an insider told Daily Mail earlier this year. “She wanted to be taken as a serious actor.”

Much positive feedback

Pamela also earned her first-ever Golden Globe nomination for her dramatic role in The Last Showgirl, a career-defining moment that also landed her a SAG Award nod.

Anderson’s recent glow-up isn’t just about beauty — it’s about evolution.

She herself has said: “I try a little blush sometimes, a little lip color, you know, sometimes,” before adding, “But then I kind of go back to [natural].”

And The 57-year-old has gotten much positive feedback from women all over the world for her natural style.

“The best thing about being over 50 is not caring what other people think,” one fan shared in response to her photos.

“It’s liberating! I love that she has the confidence to go without makeup if she feels like it. Society needs to stop pulling people down.”

Dating Tommy Lee again?

And while her latest look had some fans wondering if her makeover hinted at a personal shift — particularly after the news broke that her ex-husband Tommy Lee had split from wife Brittany Furlan — insiders shut down the speculation fast.

“She heard Tommy Lee was single again,” one online commenter joked.

But a source told TMZ there’s no truth to rekindled romance rumors, noting Pamela has no interest in revisiting her past with the Mötley Crüe drummer, with whom she shares sons Brandon Thomas, 27, and Dylan Jagger, 26.

Common back-pain drug may be linked to higher dementia risk, large study finds

A pain medication that millions of Americans rely on for chronic back pain may come with a hidden risk: a significantly higher chance of developing dementia or other cognitive problems, according to a major new study. Compared 26,000 adults Researchers from Case Western Reserve University and several partner institutions analyzed medical records from 68 health systems across the U.S., comparing 26,414 adults prescribed gabapentin for persistent low-back pain with a matched group who had similar pain — but didn’t take the drug. Their finding was sobering: Adults who received six or more gabapentin prescriptions were 29% more likely to be diagnosed with dementia and 85% more likely to develop mild cognitive impairment (MCI) within 10 years. The risk wasn’t limited to older adults. In fact, it was younger Americans who saw the most dramatic increases. Younger adults saw shocking risk increases For people normally considered decades away from dementia: Ages 35–49 taking gabapentin ha...

Queen Camilla sends clear message to Trump with ‘key’ clothing detail

King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived in the United States on Monday for a four-day state visit, stepping into a moment where relations between the U.S. and the U.K. have grown noticeably strained. In the past, Donald Trump has openly expressed admiration for the British Royal  Family. During a visit to the U.K. in September alongside Melania Trump, he spoke warmly about the long-standing alliance between the two nations.Family “The word ‘special’ does not begin to do it justice,” Trump said at the time. “We’re like two notes in one chord, or two verses of the same poem – each beautiful on its own, but really meant to be played together.” Since then, however, the tone has shifted. Tensions have escalated, particularly in relation to disagreements over international policy, including the conflict involving Iran. Trump has publicly criticized Keir Starmer, calling him a “loser” for refusing to support U.S. military action and remarking that he was “no Churchill.” He also ...
